Is there a Germany vignette?
No. Germany does not sell a motorway vignette. There is no German vignette for cars. A car toll was legislated in 2019 and struck down by the European Court of Justice in the same year; motorways remain free for passenger cars, and only lorries pay.
Germany is where most of these journeys start rather than end, and the first vignette is usually bought hundreds of kilometres in — at the Austrian or Czech border. Buying it before departure avoids a stop.
